The ‘Tree of Life’ is a 44 metre high majestic sculpture of a baobab tree in the Animal Kingdom in Orlando/Florida. Inspired by the mythological concept of the same name, it features more than 8,000 branches of various sizes, around 102,000 artificial leaves and 337 carvings of existing and extinct animal species on its trunk and surrounding roots. A fascinating work of art and a magical place.
The meaning of the Tree of Life encompasses the power of life, creation, knowledge, wisdom, resilience and longevity. It is a symbol of growth and fertility, and reminds us that everything in life follows an eternal cycle.
